Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara History :

Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara is located amidst several snow capped mountains with a beautiful lake just beside it. If you are using the Railways to reach your destination then the nearest railway station would be Rishikesh. The Hemkund Sahib yatra can be taken by road which is connected from Rishikesh, Kotdwara, Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Ranikhet and other important hill stations of Garhwal and Kumaon Hills. Since the gurudwara is located amidst mountains, Hemkund sahib trek is very popular. The Hemkund sahib trek will start from the govindghat.
