History Of Puttaparthi Sai Baba : Puttaparthi Sai Baba or Bhagwan Baba as he is fondly called by his followers was born on 23rd November 1926, in Puttaparthi. Initially named Sathyanarayana Raju, he was the fourth child of Pedda Venkappa Raju and Eswaramma. The birth of this holy soul has many stories to it and shows how he is believed to be a reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba. Since his birth and after he dissociated himself from his family at the tender age of fourteen Puttaparthi Sai Baba has been on the divine mission of spreading peace and love.
Sathya Sai Baba teaches his disciples who come for Puttaparthi Sai Baba Darshan to become aware of the innate Divinity in all of us. He preaches to practice Truthfulness, Peace, Love and harmony in our everyday life.
