Nallamala Hills
History and Overview of the Nallamala Hills
Nalla means “good” and Malai means “Hills” in Tamil. Nallamala Hills therefore can be literally translated as “Good Hills”. These hills are great for trekking and they belong to the Eastern Ghats. They cover the districts of Prakasam, Guntur, Kurnool, Kadapa and Mahabubnagar in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
