Wayanad is at an altitude of 2100 m above sea level in the Western Ghats of Kerala. Wayanad tourism is attracted to the place because of Wayanad sightseeing of evidences of New Stone Age Civilization. Relicts and edicts of prehistoric period is also found in the vicinity.
