Overview of Keylong
Situated in the Lahaul and Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh is the serene and scenic centre of Keylong. It is strategically located in such a location that it is quite easily accessible from many tourist spots like Manali, Leh and Chenab. Keylong is home to Kardang Monastery, which is the biggest in Lahaul district. This monastery is an important place of worship by the Tibetan Buddhism’s Drupka sect of pilgrims. Kelang Wazir is the presiding deity of this place and a temple dedicated to this God can be found in Shri Nawang Dorje’s house. Every year during July, this place comes to life due to the Lahaul festival.
Keylong , situated in the Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, is at a height of 3080metres or 10100feet above sea level. It is located at 32.58 degrees towards the North and 77.03 degrees towards the East.

Air – Bhuntar Airport, near Manali is the closest to Keylong.
