Indian airline is the flagship airline of the country that is managed by the ministry of civil aviation of India. Earlier to 2004, this airline was known as Indianairlines which was rebranded as Indian for mass appeal.
With its primary base and hub in Mumbai, Indian airways aimed for the domestic market of the country gradually extending the Indian airline services to the neighbouring countries like sri lanka and other asian countries. The proposal to merge Indian airlines with Air India with their respective fleet of aircrafts would be known as national aviation company of India limited. Then indianairlines would be stronger with 130 aircrafts.

Presently, Indian airline has a total of 72 airbus aircrafts in its fleet. And, these flights of the indianairlines fly to 63 destinations in total, apart from its subsidiary flights. It is for the benefit of the people that the Indian airline works.
In recent years, the face of indianairlines has been constantly updated to give it a modern look with livery renewed and aircrafts maintained with international collaborations. The inflight cabin of Indian airways is quite comfortable with high quality food and entertainment facilities. The best part with Indian airline is that it has flights to such parts of the country which are not considered profitable by other airlines.
